Professor Ye's studies focus on the process of adding specific functions to nanomaterials, as well as the creation and evaluation of functional nanocomposites. He has suggested a novel approach to molecular design and surface modification of nanofunctional materials, offering innovative techniques for interface design in composite materials. Using nanofunctional materials, he has employed surface modification technology to precisely design and control the interface structure of polymer composites. This has provided novel methods for creating composites that integrate structure and function. He has published over 100 SCI papers in journals such as Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials, Angewandte Chemie, and Journal of Materials Chemistry A, with more than 6,700 citations and an h-index of 46.
