Advanced Fluorescence Techniques in Membrane Carrier Systems Research
Assoc. Prof. Filip Mravec, Ph.D.
摘要 :
The lecture will focus on the description of the use of various fluorescence spectroscopy techniques in research and the description of membrane systems. Apart from the basic principles of the fluorescence techniques used, concrete application results will be demonstrated in the description of vesicular systems. At the same time, a proposal for combining data obtained from fluorescence spectroscopy together with data from the dynamic light scattering technique will be mentioned.

Research focus
As a member of the research group BioKol Brno and the Materials Research Centre I am responsible for method of fluorescence spectroscopy - steady-state, time-resolved, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy, and fluorescence microscopy. These methods are mainly use to research colloidal systems - membranes, hydrogels, carriers, living cells - Prokaryotes, Eukaryotes as well as novel materials characterization - quantum dots, nanodiamonds, and new fluorophores.
Recently, research has focused on the behavior of vesicular systems based on Amphiphile and Phospholipid ion pairs and their interaction with biopolymers to formulate new drug delivery systems. I received an international grant in this field in cooperation with the Taiwan National Cheng Kung University (GAČR 19-14024J) and published 4 articles.
