Assemblies of Two-Dimensional Graphene Oxide Sheets and Their Implications
葉哲寧 教授
摘要 :
In this talk, Che-Ning will introduce her work on studying the inter-layer interactions between stacked graphene oxide (GO) sheets where she discovered a long-overlooked factor behind the controversial statements related to the stability of graphene oxide membranes in water. The new insight in her work is crucial to understanding the intrinsic properties of GO-like lamellar membranes and promotes more proper ways of utilizing the materials. The study also leads to the development of a “cut-and-paste” approach to turn GO papers into complex and even dynamic three-dimensional structures. It further inspires the creation of a new state of GO, which shows its potential as a versatile starting material to construct bulk GO, and potentially graphene materials with tunable shapes and microstructures.
